A decoy bid may be made to ensure this guy either "gets the message" or even gets blacklisted.

On the other hand the job may be a trap to catch an editor - but is it a trap from within or someone trying to say "I told you so"?

An Aaron - cool image, amazing what they can do these days. My girl just looked like a bit of KFC ;)

The site won't be listed. And if it is, I imagine the editor that lists it can count the time with an active login in minutes.

If you never mentioned the site, how would anybody know who did what? Heh, keep in mind, I think it's a terrible idea, but hypothetically if both parties accept the risk of a sting, who's to know?

However, on the other hand, what if you wanted to get a competitor banned from the ODP? Is there a better way than this? Maybe simply submit it over and over again?

There are so many free directories accepting submission.
I see no value in paying for ODP.
