Buying a Clickbank product with PayPal.

    Hello there everybody,

I'm just getting into this internet marketing thing, or at least I'm trying to. LOL.

When I joined PayPal I connected it to my chequing account. Now, from what I understand I should be able to purchase things online with my chequing account using PayPal. Well, I guess when you try to buy something through ClickBank it doesn't quite work that way.

When I tried to use PayPal to buy a informational product, it said I didn't have enough money in my PayPal account, and to enter my credit card information to complete the purchase. Excuse me!, the reason I became a member with PayPal was so I wouldn't have to put my credit card info online. No, I don't have any money in my PayPal account, thats true. But from my understanding, I can pay right from my chequing account. I don't want to tie up money in PayPal, and besides it takes 6-8 business days to transfer money from your bank to PayPal. Thats insane!

Does ClickBank really work like this, and indeed does everybody? I really didn't want to keep a balance in PayPal. And does ClickBank have phone support? I can't find a support number if there is one.

Thanks, any advice would be appreicated.

    Glenn

you can buy products form clickbank but first hing you have to do is upload funds into your account form you bank account to paypal account

this is the only way using your ank acocunt funds

or you can use your credit card as a mode of payment

just link up your credit card and when next time you buy something choose funding source-- credit card stored into your account

these are the only 2 possible way to fund your account

depositing through bank account is simple and free so i don't think thats big issue and paypal is designed so as to minimize fraud not to increase you can surely use your credit card and bank account details without getting revealed to the seller

    i hope it helped

Your checking account or credit card tied to your paypal account is your "back-up" funding source, but you have to have money in your paypal to make a purchase. I think the backup is just a safety for them in case your account goes negative.

    Hi everybody,

Thanks for the prompt replies. I guess I misunstood how PayPal exactly works. I'n sure however that when I signed up, it said before I made a purchase to make sure my chequing account had funds in it, so I took that as meaning I could pay directly from my account.

The 6-8 business days to transfer money to PayPal is my biggest issue I guess. I'm just starting out trying to make some money on the net, and can't tie up a lot of money in PayPal. And to have to wait 6-8 days, everytime for the money to be there, in order to buy something I want, is just a total pain in the rear end.

But I guess, if thats the way it works, I'll have to live with it I guess.

    Thanks for the help,

    Glenn
