When coming to the rating of a seller eBay, what type of feedback we need to gather? Seller feedback or both seller / buyer feedback? Any idea? Please help. Thanks
The first thing a buyer see is the overall feedback score, which takes into account both buyer and seller scores, so it is an important measure. So seller feedback is important, but if you are just starting out selling on eBay, a buyer's feedback score can help boost your sales a little as well.
Both the seller and buyer supply feedback. You earn a good feedback rating as a combination of both a buyer and a seller.
For me seller feedback because if you gain a lot more feedback as a seller it makes you earn a lot of money by selling your products. If you have gain a lot more of it you can be mark as a trusted and power seller and more and more customers will patronized you and your product. Isn't it nice that when a buyer look for products they will go directly search you coz you're trustworthy?
I think it should be both...so that both the seller and buyer will decide on what they would buy. And also, so that they would have basis on what, how, or when to buy based on the feedback given to them.
If you want to sell on ebay then having "seller feedback" is the most important. If you just mostly buy then any feedback is good. However, the percentage is the most important, be sure to have 100% positive.
To rate seller eBay sellers feedback is considered. Along with feedback there are many more things which are considered like sales volume, selling technique... etc....
Seller feedback I'd so important. Unfortunatley every once in a while a buyer may leave negative feedback. I don't think that they always understand how much it can affect the seller. If this occurs you can contact, the buyer and request that they revise there feedback. Always shot for 100% positive.
If you're going to be selling, of course selling feedback is going to be much more important. Any positive feedback always helps though.
If you are just starting buyer feedback will be very beneficial since you will have little to no feedback you will want some and as a buyer its the fastest way to rack up positive feedback fast. Also from my experience ebay will work better with you as a starting seller if you have a lot of positive feedback buyer or seller wise. But once you start selling the only thing that should matter is seller feedback. Most customers will not look at feedback to see if its buyer or seller if you are 100% positive, But if you are not 100% they will look.
More seller feedback will help you be a trusted seller. Then you can sell your product rather easily. So seller feedback is more important.
