So, I sold a 100$ amazon GC(unwanted birthday present) to some buyer on ebay and he told me he will make a private payment with paypal, so ebay isn't involved in this. He sent me the money in two parts and I sent him the Giftcard thru e-mail. When I woke up this morning, I got a notification in my mail that he made a claim of unauthorised payment and he also selected GOODS option while sending the payment, So that i cannot send any proof and Mr.Paypal has reversed one of the payment without asking my opinion or proof.

But the thing is the buyer sent the payments in two parts and two diff. accounts, How can somebody send two unauthorized payments form diff accounts and at the same and date? The buyer has also a fake address (State Chicago Country: United Kingdom) in his paypal account. I had to chat with the CC and they said they've emailed their dept and I've also written them an e-mail to let them know this.

Their investigation team can spot unauthorized activity but they cannot spot the fake address or unsuspicious activity from two diff accounts. Do you guys think I'll get my money back?

May be he sent payment via hacked accounts? and the account owner is just trying to get back money which he dint paid? You could try to appeal this to Paypal and say it was digital goods sale and not any tengible item which can be posted. They may start investigation again and end up at your favor. You could even send e-Mail communications screenshots to them.

It's over. Paypal has sent the money back, without even listening to what I have to say. They have closed the case without providing any reason as to how they came to the conclusion. "Kings of the Internet" Idiots.
