BUyer BEWARE websitescripts

Sometime ago I bought the entire scripts package from http://www.websitescripts.org.

Since then, the site owner(s) refuse to give me access to the site. I am not able to get updates to the scripts I paid for. I have emailed them on many occasions with never a response.

I just want to post this to help anyone looking to buy from them. Please don't. Your money is spent better with someone whom will offer you the support and updates you pay for.

I agree with Hydseo, there are too much scammers now but most of the webmasters and online businesses have understood scamming concepts and have increased in knowledge. It is just the people who are just beginning in this field that should be on the look out.

There are a lot of scammers, yes. You just have to make sure you are dealing with a reputable person. Granted, you can't always do that.
Still, for buying scripts, there are a lot of free alternatives out there, plus you can find some good scripts from reputed sellers here.

 

What are you doing with the scripts, are you reselling them or otherwise making them available in a way that cuts someone out of the flow of money ?
That's the only reason I can think of that they would cut you off.

I've never completely quit communicating with anyone who's purchased from me, but I quit giving them updates if I find out they're cutting my throat.

 

That is very selfless of you to do that.
Warning us for scammers at your expense.
We should be helping out each other especially with this issue.

Not even secure http for their shopping cart. Looks kind of shady.

 

You've been great to deal with too, T. I was actually a little dumbfounded when I came across this thread.

I wonder if they're just a (unauthorized?) reseller, and someone cut them off from updates.
Have you tried to old "act like a new customer" trick to see if you get a quick response ?
