BuyDomains.com SUCKS. They are a joke, stay away

    BuyDomains.com is a joke. Really. Their cusutmer support is terrible. My site is down because of them for over 36 hours and I will report them to ICANN.

    Stay away from BuyDomains.com. I will make a follow up on how it goes and why as soon as I get my domain out of there.

    yeah true, i have one tried to sell one of my domain, came reply for U.S.$XX, 13 days later i sold that domain for U.S.$4250!
    they want extremely cheap domains nothing else :mad:

    READ THE LAST POST FIRST PLEASE

    I have purchased a site and wanted to move it to my server. Domain is registred with buydomains.com.

    They have told the previous owner that in order to make the transfer to another registry he has to remove the name from his account in order to get the code needed to transfer domain out. This is strange by itself.

    But the worst part is that because he was forced to remove the name from his account to get the code from support department also his DNS settings were removed and site went down (DNS was also hosted with buydomains).

    Now the site is down and support said 2 times already that they will change the DNS servers to mine, but they have not do it. Now they don't even respond anymore. Since domain is removed from original account only they can do it.

    Domain is currently in transfer, but it takes 5 days to change the registrar. So now it looks like the site will be down for 5 days, loose A LOT of traffic and possible SE ranking.

    This is sick, as I know there should be no downtime when transfering a name, but here they don't even respond to email anymore.

    Lesson learned, stay away from BuyDomains.com!

    Jesus, I can't belive this. Domain is registred with buydomains.DK not .COM and the guy that sold it to me just told me. So the problem is with buydomains.DK not .com

    I have asked administrators to remove this not to make any false accusations to buydomains.com.

    Again, this is a mix up, the guilty company here is buydomains.DK not .com
