    mine is down too and I am not on the proxy server(atleast thats what I am told) I am on a semi dedicated vps not the proxy plan and mine is down too. Time to find a new host!!

    Sorry about that guys, We had a big attack on beta.buyavps.com, which caused our switch to block the server to protect other servers, anyways we have blocked the attack and everything is back to normal :)

    I bought plan 3 a few days ago, and everything was fine up until yesterday. Yesterday I lost all my sites (wouldn't ping) for about 30mins to an hour. Sent an email to support, and got a reply that everything was ok when they looked at it, and if it happens again to log a ticket.

    Today (1 1/4 hours before this post) my sites went down again, this time they are pinging, but not reponding on port 80 - timing out when trying to connect. I did log a citical support ticket at 4.12pm Sydney time, but yet to get a response.

    Will re-post with outcome.

    Further to my post above, I take it that you don't offer any SLA (Service Level Agreement) or guaranteed uptime? As my sites have now been down for 2.5 hours and counting without any response from support I am guessing that I won't be refunded any portion of this month's hosting fees.

    Please advise.

    I too am experiencing a lot of downtime this week. I came to this host because my last host had so much downtime and I couldn't take it anymore. What is going on here???

    Here is the response I received from my Critial ticket 5 hours after I logged it last night in their 24/7 support area:

    So we are still waiting to here what happened, and in the mean time I and many others will be looking elsewhere for hosting as poor reliability reflects badly on the brand names we are trying to establish with our sites - i.e. we lose customers and thus revenue.

    Buyavps - I would strongly recommend contact all users affected immediately and offer them at least 1 month's refund and a decent explanation.

    I'll be with another hosting company within the next week if not satisified.
