BuyAnimeDB.com is an anime database business I started around 3 days ago. The way it works is I sell an .xml file which contains 90 anime series.

Buyers will then use this .xml file to import 90 anime series into WordPress within just a few minutes.

It saves people alot of time, that's why people like to buy these .xml files. Imagine having to find a few thousand episodes yourself, and the neverending copying/pasting you'd have to do if you did it all manually. Ordering system:

The ordering system is automated through PayPal. Visitor pays through PayPal and taken to a page straight after where they can download the .xml file and receive instructions on how to import it into WordPress.

As I mentioned, the site is still new. I have however advertised it on a few webmaster forums, and paid for an "Advertise Your Services" listing on SitePoint, so hopefully there'll be sales coming in soon.

Reason for sale:

Just acquired a free web host. I'm going to need to spend alot of time on it to get it back up on its feet, and because of this, I won't have time to continue with this business.

Wouldnt this just bring the value of anime sites lower because they would be more turnkey and like a proxy?

 

With all the other people offering anime services and selling databases, I don't see how this is any different.

Everyone who creates these "watch anime online" sites devalues the whole niche one way or another, so I don't see how you can put the blame on my site.

It's only those people who actually put work into their sites that succeed, not those people who buy databases and sit on their ass waiting for money to roll in. This database gives buyers something to build upon, since it's ALREADY hard to compete with all the other anime sites offering 100+ series.


This is what it comes down to essentially:

If you treat your site like a turnkey, then that's what it will be.

 

Trust me I dont , got 1 Main site based on ONE anime, Ranked #1 in google.. and I think this is good for people who plan to use it and make something good with it.
