    Hello,

    Say I bought some advertised space on Adbrite or similar sites to drive traffic to my sites/blog. Will I get banned from adsense?

    If you buy traffic form PPC advertisers you won't be banned as it is similar to adwords. However, avoid using traffic exchanges and PTC sites.

    A while back I made the big mistake of buying traffic. I ended up banned from Adsense because of it. Live and learn...

    I can't believe members are straight out saying NO !! LoL .... yes you can be banned for it and it's quite common .... sure if we were in 2003 - 2005 then yes this would be completely legal ....

    It's called arbitrage .... buying cheaper clicks to profit from clicks.

    It's against Google TOS to send purchased traffic to your site in this manner ....

    Google Arbitrage. (Google It).

    ~~~~~
    In saying this, you can play it a little safer by purchasing QUALITY traffic - USA, Canada, UK and Australian traffic for instance can be quality .... buying cheap junk from Pakistan, India, Vietnam and China - will definitely get you banned by the time pay day comes around.
    Then you need to mix it carefully, you can't send 99% purchase traffic to your site, try to make the ration about 20% purchased.
    You most likely will be banned ....
    Read this :
    This OP obviously intends to profit from Ad's on his web site (Arbitrage) ....
    it is against tos if you try to get traffic through spam websites. also i would say, turn off your ads, then buy the traffic, after the time line is over, then turn on your ads. because of that, you can increase your traffic in aleya.com.
    I think I will be banned if I buy traffic. I am not sure about quality traffic.
    But if my competitor want to bring me down he can drive tons of cheap traffic to my site. What can I do? Have anyone ever thought of this?
    what you are trying to do is called arbitrage which is against adsense policy. those of you who are interested in increasing you post count saying NO, think before you post. or refrain from making false statement if you are not sure about something :rolleyes:
    that's why it's up to you to ensure that your traffic is monitored, watch the traffic origins, if you get junk traffic - disable adsense and concentrate on getting better traffic for a while.
