Is it possible to pay someone to get you success on a forum? Paying to get your forum active. I dont mean paying someone to make you site somthing that will make people want to sign up, get you the traffic and think of something to offer people to keep posting? Just a thought
Try searching for "get forum members" or "forum marketing" (or similar) in these boards, and I'm sure you'll find plenty of ideas on how to attract visitors. There recently was a thread which you might find useful, check it out here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=382095 I suppose there are 2 paid ways to go: - buy forum posters (no idea how good they are - many people seem to suggest that though) - arrange a contest where top posters or top referrals get something - give prizes such as T-shirts for those who first reach 100 (or 1000 or whatever) posts (although this might result in posting lots of junk...) The number one thing I've seen everywhere is contests for forums - everybody seems to recommend them.
It depends on the type of forum. You can get some traffic with social bookmark sites and posting on other forums about the same topic.
