Buy, Sell & Trade - Freebies are racking up iTrader rep so ..

I noticed about that too and I think it's not good.

 

What about just stopping the itrader function in the freebie section?

This guy now has 82 iTraders for giving away eBooks he doesn't have the rights to.

Haha..Its only because he keeps starting threads and all the "Freebies" are clogging every section up (Since they get bumped every 10 seconds)

These are all very recent threads. I say, something has to be done quickly!!

 

I red repped the ones that blatantly ask for rep as payment (one even says he will trade rep)

I remember when making a post like that used to mean a ban.

I missed a lot of guys... Just picked a few of them that were on the first page.

It's funny, one of them actually asked me for a rep via PM and guess what...he got one!

 

A freebies section would be perfect. I also have seen people saying "make a post at my forum and I'll give you itrader". itrader shouldn't be used as a form of payment!

 

Even if they don't ask for an iTrader, they still leave an iTrader to the receiver (I don't call them buyers) and the receiver leaves one in return (at least many do, judging from their iTrader scores).

 

I made the mistake of getting one of these free products early on and the thread starter kept harrassing me through PM. Threatened to give me a neg iTrader if I didn't leave one for him.

Some of these freebie iTrader swappers can be really aggresive.

Yup! Some of them are really aggressive. But for me, the most annoying ones are the "beggar" types. There was one that added me to his msn and kept going like "Could you please give me an iTrader feedback, I really need some reputation in this forum (LMAO), come on maaaaaan! I'm asking for just one iTrader (LMAO again) I have some cool templates, I'll give you them for free...pleeeeese......."

I understand when a person has like ZERO iTrader and s/he is eager to get a few points just to get the ball rolling so, they sell all sorts of crap. That can be tolerated... But, some of those iTrade beggars have like 50 points!!!!!! I mean WTF?!! I have only 15 or smth...

What it all boils down to is that the itrader system in it's current state is broke.

3 things can happen:

1. DP does nothing, and the system continues being broke. People with inflated itrader starts scamming people and keep sharing warez on DP to keep getting itrader.
2. DP removes the whole itrader feature.
3. DP gets back on the job, and starts fixing this mess.

 

Yet people get banned for giving itraders for successful transactions in the wrong thread.
