I'm just curious if any of you have websites that are strictly for Adsense that you buy links for? I haven't done much link buying and I'm wondering if you do and still turn a profit.
Websites that are made just for Adsense and don’t give anything back to the visitor are a waste of space and should be banned, especially when it is just a copy of the same website 1000 times over just using RSS so the search engines don’t realise all the sites are the same. For this reason many people will not link to those sorts of sites, first of all why would they want to send there visitors to a useless site and second if you get banned from Google, if you are found out, then they will also suffer from it because they are linked to you.
I'm sorry, I didn't make myself clear. The main income from the site is Adsense. 100% original, very informative content. Does anyone out there buy links for this kind of site.
What do you mean by: Do you mean will people pay you to put links on your site to theirs or do you mean if you pay someone will they link to your site? If it is the first case it would depend on traffic and the target market of your website, if it is the second I'm sure you could find loads of people to like to your site if you paid them. That's a cool tool. I wanted to see if it would be worth my while to purchase links to get traffic to my site. I made about $30 so far with Adsense this month. I would hope to be able to purchase links and gain traffic to get more revenue. But the last link I bought only refered me 2 people so I'm curious how many people out there have bought links for their blog and have seen a good return.
You have to find out things like amount of traffic first and then you have to make sure the site you purchase from is relevant to your content. btw, is webpuffs yours? It seems like a good blog, I just read the interview with Chris and it was informative.
agree with Saf. Besides, I heard through the grapevine that Google is going to start cracking down on adsense sites with no content.
Yea, you need to clarify. Lots of people have a one-track mind. You say ad sense site and they almost always think of some site that's just ad sense links. I have some content sites that utilize ad sense for income. I buy advertising now and then for some. They are no different than any other site.
Thanks for the input. This is the info I was looking for. I need to work on my communication skills. It makes sense to me when I first type it, but then when it is all said and done, I can't even understand what I typed out. LOL How do you determine which content sites to buy links for? Is it by what you receive per click?
That's really for you to decide. We all have different specific agendas. I only look at what I get paid per click when I'm trying to weed out garbage. As to earnings, all I care about is what I make at the end of the day. As a rule, I never buy links for sites that won't grow much. For instance, if I am putting up a site on Widget Maintenance and don't plan on adding much content over the next 12 months, I'll do my regular marketing and leave it at that. Like I said, we all have different specific agendas.
