Buy link to become PR 6 site and perform well in SERP

    In one of the Page Rank calculator site I have visited, it states if you have a link from a PR 8 page and your site would get a PR 6.

    My question is: If I can buy a link from a site with PR 8 page, my site is likely to get a PR 6. Most of the competitors' sites in G's first page with my desired keywords are PR 4 to 6. Will I beat those competitors and made it to 1st page?

    Isn't it that simple?! Any comments...

    its not sure that u will get PR6 by just buying links from PR8 sites.And google is against paid link.
