Hi DP members, I am going to buy digi cam plz some one suggest some good model. Model must have -rechargeable battery -support 4GB sd or mmc card -more that 10Mega Pixel -minimum 4X zoom -Any brand but brand must be reputed. Thanks in Advance
what is your budget, if you can wait and have budget around $300-$400, wait for the new Nikon COOLPIX S52 series (May) or CPOOLPIX P80 (April) series. They have all functions and specs you have listed. If you want to read more, here: COOLPIX P80, S52, S52c
Go to a shop that sells a lot of models and knows what they're talking about.. say what you're interested in and take a few in your hand to see how they feel and how easy to operate they are. Btw +10 megapixels in a small digicam gives bad results.. the sensor is just too small so you get a lot of noise. 7mp is enough if you want quality, it's better to invest in a small digicam with 7mp and a good quality lens, then in one with +10mp and a cheap lens.. If you really need the huge mp and will zoom in that much or make very large prints then buy a bridge or dslr..
