buy and sell COOP Weight ? allowed or not

i just want to ask if Buying or Selling of Weight is still not allowed.

I got few offers from people selling it to me at $ 5 per 1000 weight of COOP

Am not sure if this has been allowed lately.

And if allowed, i would like to see some help from members on board about what should be the right price for weight.

    Thanks

One thing that is hard is that the co-op weight calculation seems to change periodically, I think I had something like less than 5k weight a few months ago, now it is back to over 40k.

I had no change that I am aware of (PR, count of indexed pages, etc) that I am aware of.

Also, the co-op ad network seems to have a lot of decrease in effectiveness for SEO purposes in the last year (not that it was ever intended as an SEO tool it used to be very effective at it :=P ).

Read what Shawn said, you can rent space on your site and the user can choose to put coop on it but you cant guarantee them any specific amount of weight.

Do you even know how to read!!! Those quotes do NOT say it's allowed. Try it, get banned, and then you'll quickly learn!!! Then go cry to mommy when you get banned!!! :D
