Buy a PC or build your own?

Being that most of us are techies, I'm wondering how many have built their own PC.

I've built a couple of mine.

 

When you save so much $$ I don't know how you could buy one built. Plus they are quite easy to put together, and you can easily modify it to your satisfaction.

 

Build it, much cheaper and you will get what you want.

 

I've built one before but it's really not my thing. I prefer the design of PCs over saving money, so I would rather buy one with a unique design, such as a mac or some of the Sony VGCs.

If I was strapped for cash, I would probably pay someone to build it for me on eBay. They have better supplier links and can get hardware cheaper than most, so I wouldn't be paying much extra anyway.

 

Diffinitely build it yourself.
My last 4 computer I built myself which saved me a lot of money plus I got exactly what I wanted, to the smallest piece

 

I would prefer to assemble the PC parts and then build it on my own
