The animation consist of many movie clips, frame by frame animation and very little action script. Please post your comments here after watching full animation. The site theme designed keeping children in view. The site is Here. The Animation is located under header of the site (width 600 pixels and height 200pixel).

Very nice. But one thing... music is a bit monotonous.
But hey, I enjoyed the animation.

Wonderful job, Ramakrishna p [IMG] - impressive animation of high quality.
What I think may need some enhancement is the background music - I find it a bit monotonous, as stated somewhere above in the thread. It's just a detail, though, don't mind it much.

Pretty good stuff. Just a few criticisms.

You need to be very careful mixing gradients with flat work. The gradients on the branches seem off in the beginning and the gradient used on the clouds is just plain off, there appear to be some artifacts (dots) left in the artwork of the branches.

The soundtrack cuts off half way through. Do you have it set to stream and carried out throughout the piece?

The bitmap background in the beginning and brought back at the end could be optimized a little better.

I think I would have set the background color of the swf to match the green box on the webpage.

And a question for the butterfly people. Is it like in the bird world is the male differently patterned than the female? I think not, and I don't think butterfly species cross breed.

    Sorry for being critical.

Wow!, thanks for keen observation and pointing at some weak areas in the animation. Artifacts left over on branches will be erased. The sound track yet to be changed. Yes, it is set to stream and carried out throughout the piece. Agreed with bitmap Optimisation. The webpage is designed after the animation done but still the background of the animation can be matched with webpage green. The male butterfly colors changed to differentiate between male and female. It is not a criticisms but kind suggestions. I do not have animator friends who can immediately look into animation and suggest.

This morning one of my DP forum friend contacted me on messagner and commented about the "Bird conveying birthday greetings to Caterpillar". He said that "Birds will eat insects!". :D LOL!, true!. But the animation is to convey a friendly message to children viewers... so some of the real life facts have been masked in the animation. :)

Thanks for taking my input so well Rama. I know when I was starting out my friends all patted me on the back and said well done. Now I look at the early work and realize all the weaknesses in it. I wish they had been a little more honest in the beginning. Now that I've gotten better, they are so nitpicky I hestitate to show them my work. But I do.

Well done. It's interesting how you recycled the animations and used a series of simple motions in the context of the larger presentation.
