I've had a text ad for my free Web hosting service on BusyBits. IT has done pretty well for me, so I thought I'd share the resource here. :) The cost is $50 per month, so it wasn't too bad, and I think that's one reason my PageRank jumped so fast.

I recommend that if you plan to keep good pr that you get your link back. These are the kind of things that cause sites to loose it's pr. The same goes for the owner of this site, it was a 7 before but now is a 6.

What I mean is that your link is no longer there. In order to maintain a certain pr you offen need to the keep the links that you have pointing to your website. Once you start droping links your pr can go down along with it. This may not be the case if you are building other high quailty links. But the longer you have a link the more powerful it becomes. Even though the pr for that site has dropped by 1 I am still chosing to keep the link because it is a good link to have for my market. I think the price needs to be dropped a little as well but that is ok for now.

It would have been better value if it was a sitewide link, rather than just the homepage.

Buy Pr6 is a decent one way link.

$50 a month is a lot, when you say it did pretty good for you what do you mean? Did it bring you lots of traffic?
