Busted a site stealing my content

I just busted some guy stealing my content and he is using a privacy registrar. I contacted them but they wont do anything and the only info they provide is a mailing address.

Basically the thief is reposting code that links to my games but he changed the "games provided by" url to his site.

I've emailed the site's webmaster and the registrar. Does anyone know of anything else I can do against this thief?

Send a DMCA takedown notice to their hosting company. I'm sure you can find a template around the web for that, or rewrite something that someone else sent out. Hosting companies tend to take very quick action on this, legitimate or not.

You can find out who the hosting company is by doing a whois on their IP (yes, IP, not domain name).

hotlink blocking wont fix the problem. He is posting embedding code for people to add to their myspace etc which has a hyperlink to his site.

traceroute to his domain, then check the last hops before it hits his site.

You should be able to track down the ISP, and send a DMCA to the host. If the host is not in the US, you have less of a chance they will act.

If you can't figure it out, send me a PM with the domain name.
