The site is being revamped a little from initial stage,
would like you guys to make comments, www.BusinessMeet.com is the url

its basically a business community of people to come along and meet for business.

 

Before the revamp I don't know what it looked like SO

I will base it off of what I see now.

It looks clean, have you or were you planning on adding any advertising?

You really can't go wrong with vbulletin and the design is solid.

What all was changed during the revamp.

 

ive changed the top header, removed all ads in the site
removed a menu bar which was there on top
edited few unwanted menus and removed them
moreover the url was changed to home page from /forum

 

The site looks completely professional ...

Nice design.I liked the idea of providing those "Edit profile","My contacts" options for the members.Colour combination is simple and good.

 

Well I think that your forum looks nice, but I think that you should add a blog to it, then make forum.businessmeet.com , this will drive more traffic, especially if you have some good blog posts, and I am not sure do you have this feature, but if you don't I think you should add it. When someone is making a thread, if the thread title is "Starting a business, any suggestions?"
Well, then the tags should automatically be "starting, a , business, any , suggestions ", the first 5 words of the thread. But I really like the design, and the posts/threads , like 12/71. It's really clean

Ok thanks, but I think that you should make the forum businessmeet.com/forum , not the blog, because the blog should be the main idea.

 

I think use light color on page background area instead of dark gray color.

I think the forum layout looks very nice and neat.

As ever, the success or failure of a forum is all about the quality of postings and contributors. That means attracting some interesting, informed individuals and will also require a high level of moderation.

Very good design. I think the main page should not directly to the discussion page but the profile page or opening page.

First off great domain and the looks great with the V bulletin. Maybe redesign the skin more to business might interest you.

 

The logo looks a bit small with all that white space around it. I would enlarge it so it makes better use of that space. Also, I don't understand why the news, feedback, and general-off-topic forums are given top billing. If it's a business forum, shouldn't the business categories come first?
