Looks like a google TOS violation to me. :/

I mean really, if you don't see that as spammy, then we are in different businesses.

An ad for american express with a visa card over it stood out as odd to me too.

    Where's the adsense police? LOL

Spam? Hmmmm....The site contains lots of unique and useful content that is 100% related to the website's theme and domain name, all written by me, so I don't see how you can call it spam  ; so yes: we are of totally different minds here. But that's OK. I asked for opinions and you gave yours. Thanks.

BTW: you can send all the AS police you want because I have done nothing to violate the AS TOS.

    More comments welcome.

It's not an opinion, it's a fact, you have too many adsense units.

But have at it, it's your money they will take, not mine. I was serious and trying to help, another member WILL report you. :/

NoPPID, you are either trolling or you are totally uninformed. There are no violations on the website. I have as many ad units as is permitted by the AS TOS. View the source code and you will see.

The "violations" he's talking about is the blending in of the images above the top adsense ad. You have pictures of various credit cards that aren't exactly the same as the adsense ad below. I quote violations because I'm not one to say one way or the other that it's misleading. You could argue that blending in the background within content is misleading as well.

Boths form of blending are perfectly OK with AS. Lots of people blend the background color to the ad border color. I'm actually quite surprised to read your comments--coming from you, that is. But then everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I actually have to agree, you are passing the AdSense ads on top as your navigation.

I think the other posters are correct in this case and you are going to have problems if someone reports you.

I will add though that if Google said it wasn't in violation, its absolutely brilliant as I would have clicked on an ad thinking it will bring me to info about the specif card pictured

Why don't ask the Google Team ?

I always email them before starting site promotion of a new adsense site.

Amcy please email and ask if its allowed. If its then great!

It is quite clever, and I can't claim it as my idea. I learned that innovative idea from hanging out in here @ DP AS forum. I checked the TOS before implementing so I don't see why I should have to email G about it.

You are all welcome to report the site to AS. The site will remain as is. Obviously, I am not trying to hide anything here. If I get an email from the AS Team I'll certainly let everyone in here know about it.

I wouldn't report the site myself since if I was a content advertiser (I long ago turned mine off), this would still yield a good lead as the ads are 100% related.

I only posted my opinion becuase it was in Site Reviews

I hear you and I am not offended by your opinion. I am simply adamant about my position: the site is perfectly legit.

I would just like to say that I in no way have either opinion as it being bad or good. It's an innovative idea, but when the ads don't match up then it just looks kind of funky. That being said, some people probably don't know the difference of the cards/ads so they don't even care. All I was merely pointing out was what noppid was thinking was violating the AS terms.

And for what it's worth, I'm too lazy to report anything :)

Nobody is "cheating" anyone. The site is about business credit cards and the images are business credit cards.
