Business site domain... does it suck?

I probably should have asked before registering the top 5 extensions and starting to build the site, huh? Oh well.

Right now I have content on some sites on the All Info About network. I'm moving my content to my own sites instead for various reasons, and I'm soon going to have things ready to launch. (the articles are moved... just working on the home page, nav issues, moving the forum, and main section pages over the next few days)

The domain is www.BizAmmo.com. Personally, I liked the fact that it could be a sort of play on the whole guerrilla marketing / guerrilla publicity concept, but applied to various aspects of business, and well, I thought it sounded cute. :p But a few people I've asked really hate it, and I figured you'd all know better. I won't likely change right now, but I'm just wondering if I should start trying to come up with other ideas. If I keep it, I'll likely run a logo contest in coming weeks or something, but I don't want to do that if I'm going to move things, you know?

I appreciate any feedback. Thanks. :)

I don't mind the name. I think a lot of business names sound stupid at first i.e. Google.

Thanks. I appreciate the feedback. That was along the lines of what I was thinking... hopefully it will sound better with time. I'd just been getting such bad feedback from friends that I was doubting it. The fact that's it's got more of a "fun" sound is kind of what I was looking for anyway. When the site's officially and fully up and running, I don't want it to end up as just another boring business site... still looking for ideas on ways to liven it up though.. probably some contests and such once I get some traffic coming in.

    Thanks again. :)

Yea friends can be overly negative for no good reason sometimes. Unless they're marketers you've really got to take their opinions with a grain of salt.

BizAmmo actually has a nice ring to it.

I dont really like any phrase which uses "biz", but I admit that it sounds good in this case and its easy to remember!

Yeah, I know it's not as good as "business" as far as keywords and all go, but businessammo sounds even worse. lol ;) I hope it'll work. I guess I'll find out when it's officially launched. It's not even done, indexed in google, or submitted to directories at all yet (or promoted at all for that matter other than a little bit here like in my sig, and changing the wikipedia links going to my old press release resources to point to the new pages), and it's already been earning $2-5 per day from Adsense, which is equal if not better most days than with the content on the large network with all of their crosslinking and such. So even though it's over-simplified (I never claimed to be any good with design... mostly just concerned with it functioning and having decent original material), it's doing well enough that I'll likely keep it. I really do appreciate the opinions so far. Thanks a lot. :)

as long as you update it regullarly keep creating new articles it is gona work :), probably users will want to find your website then you reaching them, domain is ok!, business word would have been very helpful to the domain.
surely u should have considered a domain with term business in it

each of the sites is on a subdomain with keywords (ie publicrelations.bizammo.com, smallbusiness.bizammo.com - not up yet, etc.), so I'm hoping that will help. I'm more concerned with a domain that I can make brandable though, rather than something just to appeal to the SEs. :)
