I am looking into buying some PR6/PR 7 domains/sites and I was wondering if someone was interested in partnering with me. I will buy the site and you will create it/maintain it in exchange for 100% of adsense income / banner sales/ affiliate sales etc. All I am interested in for myself is the income from text link sales. So if you have the skills to build/ update a site but not the money needed to purchase a pr6/ pr 7 site we might be able to work something out. Doubt anyone will transfer you a $1000+ domain just because you got some Dp points that have no value. been getting a few PMs but havent decided on anything as of yet. If there is someone else interested feel free to PM Me
And it's unlikely that anyone with skill will work on your project with no guarantee that you won't simply steal their work, change your password, and leave them screwed for their time and effort while you reap all the rewards. Things like that all too common on DP, especially by peons. In otherwords, no one here has a single reason to trust you. On the otherhand, if you had some "Dp points that have no value" I'm sure your project would be on it's way by now. Give us some safeguards so we know you're not one of the hundreds of scammers on DP.
What could solve this conflict is.. one person will have the rights to the domain (The owner) and the other will have the access to the host. You can simply forward the domain to the host (using the nameservers and such, the proper way).
I know where you're coming from, and I agree in principle. The only problem is that even if he keeps the domain in his control, and the other person has full control of the webserver, there's still nothing stopping him from stealing all your content, changing the DNS entries on the domains to his own server, and putting up the content that you created on his own site, using the domain. So since there's no way to make sure he can't steal the content, and no one has any reason to trust him, the only choices are to: 1. Have him push the domain to the other party, if he trusts them 2. Both rely on each other to be honest In an ideal world, it should be no problem to go with the 2nd option, however this is DP were people are scammed everyday. sitenewbie99, I want you to know I don't think you're a scammer. It's just the fact that there are so many scammers on here, precautions need to be taken. I'd be willing to do the deal if you had a fair amount of posts, some decent iTrader, or a lot of rep. But since you're a faceless peon that lack of reputation needs to substituted with some type of real security. That's just my two cents though. Don't take it personal.
Depending on the type of site, he would probably have to put in quite a bit of effort to do this. It sounds by his original post that he doesn't want to have to put in that type of effort into it, rather... he's simply wanting to invest, sell links, and make profit.
