While taking a job will get you exposure to the business world, it’s most likely not the kind of experience you need to be an entrepreneur. Starting a business is all about gumption, calculating risk, and ultimately taking responsibility for your own lively hood, and unfortunately there’s no way to learn that as a cubicle-dweller.

I won't mind being a cubicle dweller as long as it pays more than business.

if you really think that you can earn more than whatever you earn from the business..then you should go for a job.
moreover before taking any decision you must look at your needs and future plans! ALL THE BEST!

Take the job man, take your money. If you can try to do both maybe taking a step back from your business is what you need to clear your head and come up with some fresh ideas. Number one rule in business is watch your bottom line. If a job is going to increase your bottom line more than your business then do what you have to do man. Your business will always be something you can come back too. That job won't always be there. Everything happens for a reason and you never know what sits around the corner. You may just get into the job and find new connections that could help you run your business better. But yes, take the money.

Friend my sincere advice is to have a full time job and start business part time (as I am doing) if you want to be rich and also avoid financial risk if you are not from a rich family.

If it's possible for you to do both then it's much better because you will have a fall back.

    Hi there,

The great thing about having your own business, it's that u are your own boss, so getting a job would mean sacrificing that!

I don't know what what business you are in, and certainly most businesses are struggling in the present economic conditions which is probably why your business may be doing bad.

If u need extra income while the business is not doing well, you could consider a part time job in the meanwhile.

Yeah being your own boss sounds good in all but even when your, your own boss you still have to do things you don't really want to do. So in all reality, money is what it comes down to. I don't know, it seems like a no brainer to me. Five times what your current earnings are or your current earnings. You do the math.

Also on a side note: if your going to make five times what you are making then, why not hire someone to look after your business when your not there. Essentially you should be able to hire up to 4 more people to run your business and expand.

    What makes you happy!

If you're happy with the money then keep it and try to grow it! Maybe invest more to make the business grow?
