I have about 8 websites in total. When I go to the court house, do I have to get a seperate business license for EACH website name? Or can I just call my company anything I want and get 1 business license and it will control all my websites I have!?
Cool thanks!! The lady at the court house said I needed to have a license for each business...im like...these are websites.... she didnt sound like she knew what she was talking about.......
It depends on how you're organized. If they are each separate companies, then the separate companies generally need a business license for each. If not, you're a sole proprietorship by default, and you most likely need only one for yourself. That being said, if you're not organized as a company, you really should think about it in order to protect your personal assets should any of these businesses go bad... Just my $.02...
