I decided to stop fighting spammers (at this new site anyways) and literally create a social network that allows and promotes spam! The best spam will be promoted to the front page and the worst will remain on the upcoming page. It will be a vote site like digg but again for spammers! I will have some rules and will mainly be geared towards porn... it's simple no porn spam all rest is good! I guess the idea is to get Google traffic haha from all the spam submissions! I bought the domain name and will be launching the website over the weekend! Think it will do alright? Will spammers avoid a site made for them seeing it defeats the purpose of spamming? Will Google ban the site from being indexed seeing it's spam related? Thanks Brian
Definately thinking outside the box... ie: you are promoting spam.. But wont this: - use up a load of bandwidth having to filter through spam... - convert terribly, as spammers wont click any ads? Im interested to hear your thoughts on how to actually make this a viable business?
Right now I own a social networking website and it's getting over 300 unique visits a day from Google! It's about a year old so I was thinking maybe in a year from now I would be in the same place with this spam site! I would allow affiliate spam links or whatever they wanted! The general Idea would be to make money from the organic traffic like I do right now at another social network website I own. I'm thinking I could also sell advertising to spam websites! You know the ones that have the e-mail verification tools to by pass anti spam mods and similar? I'm not too sure it's all up in the air right now! Fine details are still floating around in my head so any ideals would be most welcomed!
Your best bet for making only would be to add custom adverts, from people who want more clicks on their website, although instead of it being based on clicks, it would be based on views, a more pay per view system, ie $10/month with at least 1,000 views.
I have an update! The site is doing well! Google traffic already on really cool keywords and Google has given the spam site a Page Rank of 2! What do you know! I only wish I could use Google ads and not adbrite!
Ok, let me see if I got this straight...you are going to create a page filled with ads, and links? And, people are going to want to go there? Is this right? PR 2? What page in the search is the site on, and under which keywords? And you are going to have rules for the spammers? Yeah, that should work.
