Business Finance Site - Original and PLR Content - Includes PR6 Related Sitewide Link

Domain: The domain is registered with GoDaddy until June 4, 2008. Because it was registered less than 60 days ago, it can't yet be transferred to a new registrar, but will have a free push to another GoDaddy account. The domain is keyword rich, and in a niche that can pay rather well.

Stats: This site was set up with the intention of flipping it, and has not been actively promoted beyond adding some of the articles to StumbleUpon.

July (so far): 467 Uniques / 2103 Pageviews

Income: The site is new and not heavily promoted, so assume no starting income. The site is already set up with Adsense and affiliate ads positioned, and business finance sites tend to offer great potential for high-paying keywords.

4 original articles / posts (it's extremely rare for me to offer any kind of unique business content to buyers outside of larger business publications, and these are reflected in the starting bid)

10 PLR finance articles (written by me and all sold to less than 15 people at the moment; probably to less than 10 including this site's copies - the price reflects the base of $20 for these two sets)

3 article directory articles - these can easily be removed. They were just added to flesh out the topic areas to take advantage of a link section at the bottom of the content.

Optimization: All articles, including those from article directories and the PLR content (which the winning bidder will have the right to alter if they choose), have unique summary text written with the aim of both providing keywords, and offering unique content at the beginning of every piece. All articles also have keyword and description (matching the summaries) meta tags written and included. All articles also have technorati tags included (which match the meta keywords).

Predicted PR: PR5 (my business-oriented sites tend to go to PR4-5 on their first update, because of my intersite linking - see below)

PR6 Business / Finance Link

I'm going to throw in a sitewide (in the network section showing my sites already). This not only includes a PR6 link, but also many PR5, 4, and other links from category pages, and even several PR5 article pages. These links go for up to $35 / month normally, and is reflected in the starting bid amount. The benefit is the ability to raise the site's PR, and therefore link sale value very quickly, with the upcoming PR update. The link will remain until the PR update. I'll very likely keep the links to this site on my other sites and blogs active as well until the PR update (meaning other PR4, 3, etc. links thrown in to help boost your initial PR while you work on building your new links). If the site is purchased at the BIN price, the buyer will get to keep the sitewide link through the following PR update as well.

Reserve: There is a reserve price that has to be met. If it's not met, I reserve the right to retain the site to either build and monetize it myself or resell at a later date. I'll note if and when the reserve is met in this thread.

The reserve on this one has not been met. The auction will continue through tomorrow, and at that point I'll decide whether to let it continue or pull the auction.

Keep in mind... this site will almost definitely go to a minimum of PR4; possibly PR5 with the upcoming PR update. It includes a sitewide link on my PR6 business / finance blog (including many PR5 pages, PR4 and PR3 pages as well) - a site with a lot of private advertising demand, and not many spots opening up anymore. You really won't beat this link-building kickstart!

If it doesn't soon go (by late this week), I'll be adding additional posts and re-listing it in a completely new auction (with this one closed) after the PR update completes (likely at a higher BIN price).

In addition to keeping the link up guaranteed through this soon-to-come PR update on the PR6 business blog (sitewide), I'll also agree to keep it up through one additional update if the reciprocal link is kept in place for that time (up to the buyer).

I also wanted to update the July stats (since the original auction was early last month). The month-end stats for July were 687 visitors and 3180 pageviews (with no real promotion at all).

All questions answered so far. But for the benefit of others:

1. No, I won't be able to accept payments other than Paypal for this transaction. Sorry. If you don't have a Paypal account, you can still pay via credit card in many cases.

2. I won't be staying on as a content producer. I'm selling this site, because I don't have the time to update and promote it, and I already have a similar niche site doing very well for me.

3. I will, however, offer the winning bidder any future business finance PLR packs that I release at half price (normally $10 for a 5-article specialty pack). That won't be available on non-finance-related sets that I release, and I won't be resuming the creation of my PLR sets until I finish selling some of my sites and combining a few others to clear up more time for projects like that. There's a mailing list that you can sign up for to get notification of new sets that are released.
