i developed a business directory www.greenbusinessdirectory.com having 10000 + listings but page rank not yet improved how can i improve its page ranking?
Im not sure, because it seems pr is a bit less predictable these days, where people in the past had an idea of how they could increase it, its somewhat misunderstood now. Dont forget that your non visible pr may have increased, but i honestly dont know how best to improve pr.
Also don't foget it's a bit more difficult these days to dodge Scroogle's manual penalties/PR penalties, especially with directories. You might be other than a PRx, would it not be for a manual edit... PR is attained by getting backlinks with PR, but if you pay or scheme for the links, you may expect a Scroogle smackdown.
You'll have to wait for them to update the toolbar. Its expected this month as the last was in January.
using abusive ads and lot lot lot of adsense (the way you are doing now) ...you will never have more PR than now...
it's a big problem if you approve every submission, as some sites have been banned by google, and it maybe affect your pr.
Seems to me that this is a huge database of sites added to your directory. Seeing as how so many go back to 2005.
