Business directory needs to be programmed

    Hi,
    I was thinking about starting an advanced business directory.

    With three parts (custom made directory, no open source):

    Website itself
    - category based directory (with the option to list companies by category, by the same region or by the same city)
    - every company has its own listing (company name, logo, url, contact etc.)
    - paid listings in every category

    Admin area for companies
    - change of their listings

    Admin area for me
    - enables to change anything (company profile, categories, subcategories...)
    - some banner system (flash, gif, jpg suppotr, it would be nice to have impressions, clicks etc.)

    + PSD to XHTML/CSS

    I will provide PSD files.

    I'm looking for price rates at this moment. The project will hopefully start in a few months so no rush. No open source

    As I said before I'm going to start on the project in some time, not now. We'll see.

    @James Barcellano, mytechiestuff:
    Very funny... I don't want to resell it. Open source is good... sometimes. I'd love to see you two maintaining hundreds of sites based on opensource. That's just not possible. I have a few sites based on Joomla! and one of them got hacked three times this year. I wasn't just patching the next day the patch came out. I don't want to spend all my time patching my sites. It is easy when you have 300 wordpress blogs in shared database, but with many various sites based on different themes with some in-code hacks it is just not possible.

    Nobody will hack one site based on custom code unless you're twitter or facebook.
