I was thinking of submitting to the annual directory at Business.com, the cost is $199 and then $149 annually. Is it worth the $?

it will be a strong backlink,..it will show people you are serious about your website...it might help in pr a lil,..but other than that maybe more for reputation..just my opinion

You will get the money back in form of visitors as the business.com is a niche directory so a lot people browsing the directory may happen to see yur website

Business.com is a quality site and it was within your budget so that makes it value for your investment:)

Others may want to spread the investment over say 2,3,4 or 5 sites when spending that amount.

But it suited you and you made the purchase thats great:cool:

Good glad you took the chance..

Now show us some stats of the traffic its sending you :)
So others might take the dare.

As someone mentioned above that niche directories will get many uniques
    and are targeted.

    thx

Only used this for one of my sites, I haven't gotten any visitors in 4 months from it.

IMHO yahoo dir is the best investment as far as expensive premium dirs. The listing is at least as good as a business.com and you get regular traffic from yahoo.
