who's the owner of business.com ?

 

Now thats what we call mother of all domain sales

very nice to have this domain in ones portfolio, after all this everything moves around Business , everythig has become Business( which is also Sad )

 

Sure the domain name isn't the main part of the deal but certainly doesn't hurt it. And if you do a google news search on business.com you will find a lot of information about the deal and their revenue. Here are two sources:

they will get lots of advertising no doubt, but for how long?

I'm not sure how you define great marketing strategy, so if spending $350m is great strategy to achieve all that, then how abt $700m? or $1billion? How wld u quantify it in order to come to the conclusion that it is a great strategy?

I think that many here have said it is a great buy, but how would you know how much money is considered a great buy? I won't say its a great buy cause i don't know how to value the company and its profitability and growth prospects since i've never handled such a huge business before.

But one thing this sale has confirmed for me, DIRECTORIES still have a bright unwavering shinning future! 3 Cheers for this industry!
