    Hi,

I've seen on peoples logo designs, they've made a preview of a business card with a logo on it. I really want to be able to do this myself but I'm not sure how to make it well.

One good example is here (might need to login to see it, but I'm sure you get the idea)

I can't get the perspective of the card and the blurring and the shadow etc etc just what I like.

If you can help it'd be appreciated :D

Make a 3d view of your flat business card image using "Transform" tool (Ctrl+T in Photoshop).
In Quick Mask Mode (Q) draw a mask using Gradient (default one - black to white), leave Quick Mask and apply Gaussian Blur filter.
Shadow can be applied with a filter or by creating a separate object and lowering its opacity.
