To start with, I tell you about tellafriend briefly: tellafriend is word of mouth maketing widget that creates viral buzz for the businesses on the world wide web. Essentially, this widget will help sites like ecommerce,bloggers, online shopping portals, travel, fashion, apparels etc. to spread their message across. Actually i already have this type of business running for 6 month consistent earning $30k-$70k/month. I can give you the rough idea of it. What you need is a medium to announce the news about the product such as via video,flyer etc. And then,you need to a large database of the people that interested in particular niche. By having the database you can consistently sending the correct product information to the potential buyer.

Mouth Marketing... Is it like Sales talk? Well Anyways the only thing I could say about this is, basically if you have good sales talk capabilities then the business will work so well... It really depends on the strategy..
"Word of mouth marketing" can be efficient if you know how to use it. Try not to abuse of it and use it wisely.
