I want to get a better understanding of business and what it takes to go self employed. I hope in the future i can at least get something going on the side for a better financial safety net. Does anyone have suggestions for blogs/articles even books i could to get better versed?

Good business books are: The Art of Possibility by Rosamund Zander and Benjamin Zander, The Lean Startup by Eric Ries and The Innovator's Dilemma by Clayton M. Christensen.

Neil Patel has a good blog and a guy by the name if Anil Argarwal has a fantastic blog also.
