so i am using premire.....thinking about upgrading to business account. so that my business name will show in transactions, not my actual name ? is it worht it, and are there any costs involved, any downside to upgrading ? also epassporte anyone? should i get this as well ?
You only need to have a registered business or incorporated company with an bank account in your business name to operate a Paypal Business account. At the core, the Business account and the Premier accounts are identical. The main difference is that a Business account is for a registered business or incorporated company as owner and the Premier is for a private individual without a company.
No, the premier account is for a private individual and thus should and would only reflect your personal name. If you do not have a registered business or incorporated company then using one would be misrepresenting yourself and in some countries can be deemed as illegal.
In the signup itself you can select Business account or personal account, business accounts charges are less if you transact more in the account. The premium member is for personal account only not for business account
If you have a registered business then go with the business paypal account, it will show your business name.
i have a verified business indian accounts. and its like just normal verification process like premier accounts. and even regarding us accounts. u dont have to show any proofs for registered business.. i have us business accounts too..
what is the link for upgrading to business account? i cannot find it. also how much do i save by upgrading to business....like right now paypal takes away 3~4% of transaction. im getting more and more frequent trasnactions....so its costing quite a bit
yea. during check out, the customer will see ur business name. but he can know ur email which u have given in the CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL, CUSTOMER SERICE ADDRESS and PHONE number. business doesnt mean its completely anonymous. buyer will know abt all ur business details u had given during sign up
In the US at least, you can do business as yourself. There aren't any legal requirements on Paypal's side, so anyone can get a Paypal business account. Just make sure to keep your books separate from your personal finances because tax reporting can get tricky in a mixed account.
