I want to implement a business blog for my company, on the same domain. Basically, I want to ask you guys what's better from an SEO pov. Having the blog structure in a subdomain or a subdirectory? Such as:

    www.adobe.com/blog

    or

    blog.adobe.com

I found a couple of articles on the Internet and most simply skipped this as unimportant. What's your opinion on the matter?

P.S. No, adobe is not my company :)

    Hello Tudi,

From my experience, it seems that the subdirectory would be a much better choice. SEs tend to really only pay attention to the domain name (excluding subdomain) and the final directory or filename listed in the path/URI. In this case, I do think you will do much better with a subdirectory.
