Don't count the chickens yet. It will probably cost a little more but I am sure the oil companies will be willing to provide the funds for buying enough Iraqis politicians to pass it.
It is a meaningless piece of paper anyway, it just give USA a legal frame work for occupation but the real test for occupation is on the ground. Soviet also had many such treaties with Afghan government.

 

Regardles if you agree with his goals and plans or not, he is a failure.He is just soooooo bad. I don't know why these neocons are still around.

While I agree that his policies and government was and is a disaster for democracy everywhere and for majority of American people in particular, I can also see that he was the best that could happen for many in weapon industry and oil companies.

 

What will do other countries if Obama will be a president ? Will they keep armies in Iraq ? What about Britian for example
