ABC News (here in the U.S.) showed a reverse angle video of the President and it clearly shows him taking his watch off and putting it in his pocket. People were grabbing his wrists pretty crazy like and I'm sure he realized it was a tempting target.
everything I have read on DP regarding our President does not lead me to believe he would be smart enough to do so. Videos can be doctored my friend Pentagon missile attack? ring any bells

It really sounds funny but I know this incident is true. This morning, I came accross this news in my local news paper. I also have seen the picture. A group of Armenian people pounced on his hand to wish him when some one flicked it.Body guards were ther, but still this incident happened.
Look anybody who knows me knows I am not a fan of Bush in any shape form or fashion, but when one looks at the video taken from the left side of Bush you will distinctly see Bush take the watch off his wrist and slip it into his pocket. If you look at the videos from the right side all you see is the watch suddenly disappear but because of the crowd and Bush's position you don't see him briefly lower his hands to remove the watch.
I love a conspiracy theory. The most powerful man on earth losing his watch! What a scoop! Media is sure having a field day!
I saw it on ABC Nightly News (US) the other night others have said they saw the same clip on YouTube. The problem is for conspiracy theorists and others is that they are all ignoring the video taken from the left of Bush because it is more fun to believe that Bush had his watch stolen. There is nothing interesting in knowing that Bush simply took it off for safe keeping. This is why all of the YouTube clips are focusing on the video from the right that don't show Bush taking his watch off because people are in the way and blocking the view.
