Hahahahahahahaha! Do you really think that Russia or China would go to war with the U.S. to save the current Iranian regime? Russia right now barely has the military capability to take on the Ukraine. China, tell me how China would get troops to Iran? Have you looked at the PLA's troop mobility problems? Those goons are not going to invade anyplace that they cannot walk.
Well both russia has still the weapon of hell, nukes. It doesn't matter how much millitary capabillity one country has if the other one just got one nuke, able enough to transform NY with suburbs into a parkinglot.
Putin has nuclear weapons pointed directly at your city Will, that's how, better get the old bomb shelter warmed up and ready, your guns will not save you in that day! Only the God that you don't believe in can save you when that light flashes Will PS: You won't be laughing then, and Bush will not be there to save you, nor will Cheney, they will be in an undisclosed location running for their lives!
So latehorn, do you really believe that Vladimir Putin will nuke NYC to save the Islamist regime in Iran?
I don't know, you don't know either, only Vladimir knows. Mayby it's worth it since Iran will bomb NYC anyway.
Well I hope you are right but there are many crazy world-leaders that wish to start WWIII as soon as possible.
No country at this given time will takeon the might of USA directly. Down the line China can be seen as a potential threat.
Do the math. Let's start with a few questions: 1. Which navy is larger? The U.S. Navy, or every other navy in the world combined? 2. What air force could maintain air superiority against the U.S. Air Force? 3. What do you call ground troops with no navy to move them and no air force to protect them? Answers: (1) Ours. (2) None. (3) Targets.
At this point of time US is dominating world politics. But China is growing at a phenomenal rate be it economy or political clout. Twenty Years down the line maybe. Unless US faces a catostrophic war I dont see its domination ending in the near future.
China only appears to be growing so rapidly because they are starting from so far behind. To achieve real growth, China will have to make real progress. Economic progress is tied to political and cultural progress. In the long term, they are interdependent phenomena. Therefore, if China does grow into a power-house economically it means that they must also be making cultural and political progress. And, of course, if they make cultural and political progress then their growth is heartily welcomed by all right-thinking people in the world.
