Burst in traffic after google instant release?

My traffic haven't increase

 

Quite the opposite here.

 

Zoinks! Big drop in traffic this week - not sure if it is seasonal or due to Instant Search.

 

I am also going through the condition of getting lower traffic in my site.

 

its staying the same for me, but congrats! that's a 30% increase!

 

I have to say Google instant could give you both positive and negative. It is depend on how well your website ranked for related longer tails keyword. If your website performing well for relative keywords then the increase could be possible since the instant will display results prior finish the keyword typing.

 

Google Instant seems a little irritating to use, and I find the results are not exact as you would in a normal search, so I suspect they are still ironing out the bugs

 

I've targeted some short keywords but the bulk of the new referrals are coming from "longtail" keywords.

Thing is I don't check my rankings that much on google. I just focus on content.

I have seen decrease in my site traffic from US and UK.... It may be affect of Google instant launch.... As my site ranking position is same in top 5....

 

Google instant is not good for long tail keywords, but good for short keywords.

 

It was just minor update my site was updated from na to pr 0, i have also seen many people saying that it is minor update!

 

I can also see the bounce rates increasing!

 

We actually had a big increase lately.
