Rules Bunch of petty infractions

Wow this forum is ripe with spammers, scammers, posts with useless content, useless threads that add nothing to the forum and nothing is done. Yet I just got like literally 6-7 infractions for petty stuff because some power hungry mod looked through my post history.

In link exchange I posted that I would write articles for home imovement websites in exchange for a link in the post....infraction...I made another thread saying I'd do the same for gardening websites....infraction for "wrong category" and "dupe thread" .....replied to a couple people's BST threads...infraction.

So, SO incredibly petty. Right, penalize this forums last few remaining members and see how much longer they will stay here.

Why not try contacting the mod to express yourself clearly. Hope you do and succeed in it..

I got a few infractions and got upset about it, posted some threads and .............. got more.
It´s a bit annoying, especially when you inadvertantly break the rules but I´m afraid you just have to live with it. They´ll expire and hopefully you´ll learn what you can and cannot post and move on.

Meh... infractions are just a learning experience. You almost have to try to get 10 before some start to expire. Learn from 'em and move on.

You know what they say about the fine print... it's educational, especially if ya don't read it. :)

This may sound cruel but true: "If you are not happy with DP's management system, then the door is open my friend. Creating such thread is only a waste of your time. Find some other forums out there fits your taste". You're a member since 2007, you should have known the standards better. I end my post with a smile. :)

Whilst it can't be nice getting all those infractions in one go, I imagine it happens pretty often around here.

When you get an infraction for something a mod comes across, they're gonna check your history and see if you've made any other "offenses".
