Rules 'Bumping'

    Hey,

    Can I ask why 'bumping' a thread after 2 months is an infraction? :confused:

    If I was to create a new thread I am sure I would be penalised for duplicate threads, so why is updating a thread such as this one given an infraction? :confused:

    I see why 'bumping' threads can result in annoyance etc. but it has been 83 days between the posts, how else could I go about with telling people I want to trade links? If people prefer to PM me, rather than post in that thread then what can I do? (mods can check the PMs and see that people have messaged me in between, but I wanted to raise awareness)

    You can use the bump feature (usable every 30 days for non-premium members such as you and I, or every 7 days for premium members) or you can link to the thread in your signature, bumping is against DP's rules.
