Bumping threads

I just got a warning for bumping a thread. It said I should use the edit button. That makes no sense as after 24 hours or something you can't edit the post. Why does the system not auto merge until 24 hours is up, and allow editing past 24hrs. I am sorry I bumped the thread, but it does bother me to be "asked to use edit button" when the system won't allow me. If the system allowed edit after 24 hours, and wouldn't allow a post to be bumped like other forums, wouldn't this solve all the problems?.............well at least about this subject....

 

Bumping thread isn't allowed, for whatever reason, anytime. You need to contact a mod when you want to edit your post if the post is 8 hours old. This warning or infraction, as far as I know, will not be reversed.

Also, never complain about warning or infraction you've received. If you want to appeal, contact a mod via PM function.

 

Well to start with, your posts were only 4 hours apart from each other. You received a warning so that you would know the proper procedure for next time.
