Bumping thread

    Hey,
    I am curious to know when i can bump a thread.coz most of the forum allows to bump after 24 hours. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=15718333 i gave a update on this thread and someone gave me a red rep.
    cant i post any updates on the thread even after 24 hours??? will updates after 24 hours be called bump??
    are posts made after 24 hours called a bump ??

    If its yes.i am sorry i was ignornant about the rules.

    It depends on if it's really an update of something significant or just an excuse to bump the thread.

    Start looking at post 13, post after post after post. You say in last one this is not a bump. We do have an edit button,

    The posting guidelines say:

    Don't "bump" threads and don't post duplicate threads.

    There is no rule you can bump a thread after x number hours. Use common sense.
