Hi, I've just received an infraction for bumping a thread. The infraction notice was: The only problem is that the edit button has disappeared from my original post! I'd love to edit it to add the latest features of my software, but I can't. And if I post up info on the software updates I get an infraction! Please tell me what to do! Yes, if you run out of edit time, report your post to a mod and ask them to make the changes you want.
That has happened with me too........ But mods have hundreds of threads to check. You can understand there situation. Besides its just 1 infraction, move on.
I agree with RoyalSeo here, its an infraction, so move on. Besides, just make sure you don't post the same think again in the next post. If you post something new which can be useful for your readers, especially when you cannot edit the last post, I don't see any point in an infraction. But if you post something like 24 hours to end of auction, 12 hours to end of auction type posts, it can lead to an infraction.
You could have edited the previous post..they were just over 7 hours apart and the edit button stays on for 8 hours.
