Bumping an old thread - Help Mod

    How old is the thread would have to be before you are considered bumping an old thread by posting in it?

    It all depends on the thread. If someone posts a nonanswered question from way way back, and you have the answer, it would be acceptable to post. If someone announced a site for sale in 2006, and you posted today, I would consider that a bump for I would feel you should PM to ask if still available. Chances it would not be. Often old threads get bumped by new members to spam their URL.
