Bump / Edit - Why the same link?

    Hello

    I want to edit first post in my thread, but the edit option is in the same link as the bump one. So if I already bumped the thread I can't edit my post. Why is that good for?

    It only becomes the same if you are beyond the normal 8 hour edit time.
