Hi,say if you had some keywords that only showed two results on a google search when used with quotes.Would you still need to promote your landing page site by using ezine etc & other article sites,or do you need to promote it to push it up the rankings with non quote searches? Thanks for any help.
Try to promote your keywords without quotes. People don't seem to search anything using quotes. They simply type in google or any other search engine and don't bother about quotes and why should they? They are not trying to find your website, they are just trying to find some information which they easily get by simply typing without quotes. So I think it is pretty much evident and clear that you MUST try to promote your web site's keywords without using quotes and that can be easily done in the manner you have mentioned that is by submitting articles to article directories and you can also start blogging for driving some nice traffic to your website.
Using quotes while researching your keywords will help narrow down exact competition to those words, but as mentioned above, no one uses quotes when they are actually searching for something. Submitting articles though will still help your site move up and stay in the top of those searches.
