i signed up for google adwords with a supposid $50 dollar credit through this link:

    https://adwords.google.com/select/main?cmd=Login&sourceid=Yh91503

after i signed up and all i noticed that there was no 50 dollar credit applied to my account. so i emailed google and this is what they said back:

    Hello,

Thank you for your email. I understand that you are not seeing the $55
credit associated with AdWords accounts established through the
    promotion
    for Yahoo! Small Business customers.

The $55 credit associated with the Yahoo! sign-up is automatically
    applied
to your account when you sign up with AdWords via a link on the Yahoo!
Small Business site. As per the terms of the promotion*, if you are a
Yahoo! Small Business customer and you signed up for AdWords through
    the
designated URL, please be assured that we will be applying a credit of
    $55
to your account within 36 (or 72 for customers located outside of the
U.S.) hours of account activation. We regret any inconvenience caused
    by
    the delay.

Please note that you need to be a Yahoo! Small Business customer who
    has
signed up for one of these four services to qualify for the AdWords
    sign-up offer:

    - Yahoo! Web Hosting
    - Yahoo! Domains
    - Yahoo! Business Mail
    - Yahoo! Merchant Solutions

However, as you have not received any promotional credit until now,
    please
send us any proof or screenshot that indicates that you are a Yahoo!
    Small
Business customer using any of the above services. I will then be able
    to
investigate and escalate this matter to the concerned team.

*As a reminder, please also note that the terms of the promotion are as
    follows:

The offer is valid only for new Google AdWords customers with
    self-managed
signup. The offer amount is based on a $55 total credit, which
    represents
$50 of advertising credit and a $5 offset against the activation fee.
Advertisers will be charged for advertising that exceeds the
    promotional
credit. Advertisers will need to suspend their ads if they do not wish
    to
receive additional charges beyond the free credit amount. The offer is
subject to ad approval, valid registration and acceptance of the Google
AdWords program standard terms and conditions. The offer is
non-transferable and may not be sold or bartered. It may be revoked at
    any
time for any reason by Google Inc. ONLY ONE PROMOTIONAL CREDIT IS VALID
PER CUSTOMER. The advertising credit is only available for orders
submitted through the URL provided in this promotion.

In the future, you can view all credits to your account via the
    'Billing
Summary' page. You can access this page by clicking the main 'My
    Account'
tab at the top-right of your AdWords account.

If you have additional questions, please visit the AdWords Help Center
    at
    https://adwords.google.com/support/bin/topic.py?topic=8336, where you
    will
find answers to many frequently asked questions about AdWords Starter
    Edition.

We look forward to providing you with the most effective and
    user-friendly
    advertising available.

    Sincerely,

    G Suresh
    The Google AdWords Team

It states right at the top in red bold type 'Special Offer for Yahoo! Small Business customers.'

If you are not happy you could state you missed the obvious and ask for a refund, then find another way to get a google ad credit.

yeah i would have read it if the page didn't automatically redirect me (automatically signing into my google account) after about 1 second to type in my information..even so if i did read it it really doesn't seem clear:
