My business caters to several hundred small businesses, mostly small restaurants, hair salons and auto repair shops. As a “courtesy†for them being a customer I would like to submit their businesses to the major search engines so they can be found organically by their Business Name. For example, if someone is looking for Rachael’s Hair Salon, goes to Google and types in “Rachel’s Hair Salon†I want the business to be found. All of these customers already have websites and email addresses. Since we want to provide this as a “free†service I am looking for a cost-effective way of bulk uploading the information to the major search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing, SuperPages etc). Any suggestions would be welcome!
If you want free - use my list at FREE Search Engine Submissions and use one of the auto submission tools (not as comprehensive as manual submissions from the larger list, but probably good enough for what you want). If you want to pay, you should do the guaranteed listings in Universal Business Listings which covers everything from GPS, Onstar to Yellow Pages. Good luck!
Thanks for the info. I actually am looking for a program or software that will allow me to bulk upload information to Google Maps & Yahoo Maps & Realpages too. I don't mind paying to purchase a program or license to a site to accomplish this. I am just trying to stay away from a "per entry" fee.
